There is no consistency here because his politics are entirely impressionistic. This time next week he's just as likely to be praising this govt.

And he never presents any alternative. Unable to see any kind of poltics beyond the Labour Party, he will continue to argue with Labour as he has done for the last several years. And nothing changes. In 2020 all will be forgiven and he'll be calling for another Labour vote.

Chris Trotter is entirely predictable and, frankly, I think he will have little to contribute to the development of progressive poltics in this country until he finally recognises that Labour is a political dead end.

I don't think we have any common ground.Steven Cowanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04352539377513132294noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7257493550531569180.post-81276089513012744622017-12-15T14:33:33.339+13:002017-12-15T14:33:33.339+13:00I don't know if you have seen it or not, but C...I don't know if you have seen it or not, but Chris Trotter has expressed disatisfaction with Robertson's mini budget on The Daily and goes as far as to say that the right wing transformation of NZ will continue. He is certainly singing a different tune from what he was singing before the election.

Maybe you and him are sharing some common ground?

cheer

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
