I personally will always reject the view that people are too ignorant and unsophisticated to form their own judgement and must be protected from hearing
certain views - or images - by people 'who know better', be they on the right or the left of the political spectrum.
I certainly will not accept the religious dogma of those obscurantists that places the so-called prophet Mohammed beyond criticism. That road leads to
the murder of journalists and cartoonists and the sentencing of Raif Badai, a young Saudi blogger, to 1,000 lashes for "insulting Islam". Three days ago he received the first fifty lashings.
