How radical really are the Green Party's welfare and tax proposals?
In this latest Democracy Project podcast, the Democracy Project's Geoffrey Miller is joined by commentator John Moore for an in-depth conversation about
the Green Party's recently announced tax and welfare proposals.
THE DEMOCRACY PROJECT was launched earlier this year. Based at Victory University of Wellington but independently run by Dr Bryce Edwards, it describes
itself as a 'virtual public square'. It says it aims 'to enhance New Zealand democracy and public life by promoting critical thinking, analysis, debate, and engagement on politics and society.'
The Democracy Project is 'resolutely non-partisan' and welcomes differing views. It describes itself as 'an experiment in a new way of doing politics, involving academic, civil society, and media collaboration.'
