YESTERDAY APPROXIMATELY one thousand Aucklanders took to the streets to protest against the current level 2 restrictions and the wearing of face masks. Advance Party co-leader Jami-Lee Ross told the crowd that 'we want our rights and freedom back. The government have decided in the name of old science, we have to stop our daily lives.’

In this edition of Newsbroke, Francesca Fiorentini looks at why some people put their individual freedom above everyone else. And how has the obsession with individual freedom helped to benefit those in power?
