THE CIA GOES WOKE

A NEW  recruitment video from the CIA features a  self-described cisgender millennial Latin intelligence officer.  Says the officer:

'I am a cisgender millennial, who has been diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder. 

'I am intersectional, but my existence is not a box-checking exercise. 

'I used to struggle with impostor syndrome, but at 36 I refuse to internalise misguided patriarchal ideas of what a woman can or should be.'

Abby Martin from the Empire Files takes a look at the CIA's dip into wokeness and suggests that its another manifestation of an identity politics embraced by liberals that is hollow and self serving because it is absent of any ideological worldview and merely ends up shoring up capitalism.
