BOTH CLIMATE CHANGE MINISTER James Shaw and Greenpeace have praised Foodstuff's plan to build a new warehouse facility that will include New Zealand's largest solar panel array. Both Shaw and Greenpeace think this is evidence of the corporate sector doing its bit to fight climate change.

But with the scientific community warning us that we need radical and fundamental change to our economy to really combat climate change, are solar panels on a warehouse roof just a faux corporate solution to the climate crisis?
