GLOBAL CLIMATE STRIKE 20-27 SEPTEMBER : SYSTEM CHANGE NOT CLIMATE CHANGE

ON SEPTEMBER 20, three days before world leaders meet in New York for the United Nations Emergency Climate Summit, hundreds of thousands of school students and workers will join millions worldwide to down tools as part of the world’s largest #Climate Strike. It will kickstart a week of climate action around the world.

School Strike 4 Climate New Zealand has planned a general strike for September 27:

"To recognise the significant threat climate change poses to all our futures, livelihoods and very existence we are calling on all New Zealanders to join us and stand in solidarity on 27th September for urgent action on the climate crisis. Student strikers are encouraged to bring their parents along to the strike and the general population are invited to get involved."
